On Maternity Leave

It has been awhile since my last blog entry.. I have been on maternity leave since 2nd week of September and it's only 5  days before my EDD! Well a lot of things has been done; Baby Shower celebrated with family,relatives and friends; prepared baby's nursery; Lola Babes already arrived in Manila. The only thing that we're waiting is Baby Angel Reign! I'll be having my OB check up on Tuesday and hopefully that baby has already descended in place and ready for delivery.

I am so excited and anxious at the same time. I have seen a lot of actual normal and cesarean delivery during my exposure in the labor and delivery room, yet being on the other side of the table is a taboo for me. I have been discrete on being an RN the entire time that I was pregnant I just don't to be "I know it all" and just want to enjoy and discover being a mother as the day goes by.

Ohwell I need to do a lot of walking right now so that I can get ready for the big day that only God knows when. I can do this! Lord please give me that strength and power to deliver my baby safe!!!

Thank You Lord!!!!

I went to a diagnostic center to have my pelvic ultrasound, it was a Monday afternoon and I was so sleepy already. The results were normal - baby was @ 32 weeks and 5 days and no previa was seen, (Thank God ). Baby was sleeping aswell she has her hands covering her face and was hiding from us. hehehe! (wawa baby antok na kase)

So far no more spotting, discharge nalang. I figured my body and baby can't handle late nights anymore. I need to take naps and sleep early at night. Less carb diet pa rin. I feel better that my 6th month wherein I was super stuffed and bochog. (heheheh!) 

Staying home until I give birth made me think innovatively I made Frozen Hazelnut Anmum since I often feel hot and I am craving fro cold drinks!

8 months

It's my 33rd week! I'm on leave already, 2 weeks had passed that I have been on bed rest... I had episode of spotting on my last day at work and my boss decided to put me on leave already, well I was planning to be on ML by the 28th pa pero my baby and body isn't responding well that's why we had to advance it. Ohwell I just want a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby..so I gotta do what it takes to make it happen even if entails of no income and house arrest.

2 weeks has been major adjustment for me, strict diet yet I feel starved naman all the time.sticking with 1-2 cups of rice a day.More fruits and veggies on my meals and less chocolates and cakes. I still can't give up breads and pastries. I do have early M.A.D cravings for Starbucks,cupcakes and cakes still yet I opt for yogurt instead :D


I already got the 1st batch of babay stuff from Mama, they are so cute!!! excited to get more by next month.. I hope we could get the criband fix the room for baby's furniture by the end of the month habang kaya kopa mag galaw galaw.

I do have my daily routine now:

3am - 4am Wake up/Breakfast
7am            Out ni Gelo from work
8am            Arrival ni Gelo from work
830-12nn    Watch TV/Nap/Prepare lunch
12nn            Lunch
1pm-3pm    Watch TV/Time with hubby
3pm-7pm    Nap
7pm             Dinner
9pm             Gelo off to work
11pm           Start work ni Gelo
11pm-4am   Sleeping time for me

...after 2 months...

It's already July, Im on my 25th week already and baby has shown a lot of different movements and it amazes me and other people aswell! I'm gaining weight too I'm 60 kilos now and im beginning to look chubby! My cravings are back and baby gets to taste new flavors of food..


I also had my July UTZ and IT'S A GIRL... "Angel Reign" is the name me and Gelo decided to call our baby girl.. It excites me more to know it;s gender and feel it moving inside me..

Healthwise I got colds and sore throat a week in June and I'm still under treatment for UTI :(
I hope I get well soon, it make me feel guilty taking antibiotics right now.

Press Release!!!

Out of the blue I changed my FB cover photo with the recent image of my baby and colated all the pictures that I have starting from the pregnancy test that I had fto my 12week UTZ.

It's a good feeling that everybody knows already that I'm pregnant. Reading all your messages makes me smile each day and made me feel so lucky to have supportive friends. I appreciate all your wishes and happiness! I love you guys!

I had another OB check up this time with Dr. Villarosa ( he's my cousin in law's OB) . The doctor was nice and  gay. I went there with Andy, Ana and their daughter Asia. At first Asia wouldn't believe that I'm having a baby and when she saw the ultrasound she said " Tita your baby's bouncing, there's a party in your tummy". Bwahahahah!She made me laugh hard. My baby isn't camera shy for  sure, it always pose showing it's face for the camera. (here is the ultrasound on it's 12th week)

The eyes and the nose are noticeable already. kamuka ko ba or ni Gelo? heheh!

I have been more tiresome lately yet good thing I had my appetite back - eating more rice, fruits and drinking milk. It tasted sineguelas, watermelon, peanut, strawberries and cream, bicol express, etc. My first batch of vitamins and mineral supplement are already replenished. I will have my next OB check up on May 26, 2012.

Been busy with work , was able to graduate my product training and now we're taking calls already. Gelo started taking calls a week ahead of me and their schedule is from Mon-Fri: 3pm-1am while mine will be Tues-Sat: 12mn-9am. Now I had a 3day off, Spent last Saturday with Gelo and friends for a wedding event @ St.Francis Shangri la Place. Thank you hubby for helping me @ work! Muah! Thanks also to my friends for the love, care and support.. To mama for buying me maternity clothes.. Daddy and In-laws for buying me food.. Ate P and Carlo for driving me to work... <3

Most of all Thank you Lord for providing all my needs and showering me with a lot of blessings!
